For out of area travelers. . . Interstate 95 North to Maine and the Maine Turnpike (I-95); pass Portland, take Exit 52 (formerly Exit 9) - Route 295 (formerly Route 95) to Route 1, Coastal Exit 28 (formerly Exit 22) for Brunswick and Bath. Follow Route 1 thru Bath and Wiscasset to Route 27 South and Boothbay Harbor.

Please note that some exit numbers and some route numbers for the Maine Turnpike have changed for 2004. To download a detailed brochure of the changes from the State of Maine, CLICK HERE. (PDF format).

When you leave Route 1, you will travel 10.5 miles along a winding Route 27 to the shopping center on the outskirts of Boothbay Harbor. As you approach the shopping center you will see our YMCA on your left, then 500 yards on the right, the Hannaford super market. Stay in the right lane as you pass the Hannaford and proceed up a slight grade (keeping to the right at the top of the hill as you pass the First National Bank of Damariscotta). Take next left onto Union Street. Stop at the stop sign, then proceed about .5 of a mile around the north end of the Harbor to Cap'n Fish's Waterfront Inn,which is on your right. If you pass Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church you have gone too far.

A room at the edge of one of Maine's most scenic Harbor''s awaits you. We are pleased to be your host.

Follow motel directions, but do not turn onto Union Street. Instead, continue straight (Oak Street) approx. 1/2 mile to stop sign (just past Post Office). If you were to continue straight ahead, you would be on commercial street. Pier is down the hill directly behind The Village Market. There is no parking on the pier, but there are several pay lots close by. There is also metered parking on the streets.

Directions to Parking

Go straight past The Village Market, pass Fisherman's Wharf - Chimney Pier Parking is on the left. If this lot is full, turn right (Boothbay House Hill Rd.). Go to top of hill, additional parking is available here. Pay lots charge from $5.00-$20.00 per day, depending on the type of vehicle.
